Services

Mediation

In mediation, I bring both parties together as a neutral third party to help you negotiate a resolution you both agree to. I don’t take sides or decide the outcome. I help you reach a workable agreement, faster and more privately than court.

Benefits: lower cost than litigation, resolved in weeks not years, fully confidential, and it preserves the relationship instead of ending it.

I mediate: construction & renovation disputes, workplace & volunteer disputes, contract disputes, professional services disputes, and partnership disputes.

Consultation

Consultation is one-on-one support. I work for you alone, helping you understand your options, prepare your case, and build leverage before mediation, negotiation, or litigation.

Benefits: clarity on your situation, a stronger negotiating position, and guidance drawn from 23 years in construction and business.

I consult on: construction & renovation, workplace, contract, professional services, and partnership issues — whenever you need someone in your corner rather than a neutral in the middle.

About Me

Welcome to my website. I am Clara Puskas, an accredited Mediator and Certified Workplace Fairness Analyst.

With 23 years of experience in residential construction, design, and retail, I bring practical, industry-based insight to trade, construction, workplace, and business disputes. Before becoming a mediator, I built my career in construction and design. As a result, when a dispute involves a contractor’s quotation, an unexpected design change, deficient work, miscommunication, or a project that has gone off track, I understand the issues from the inside—not merely in theory.

I also hold an ADRIC–RICS Certificate in Construction Contract Adjudication, further strengthening my understanding of construction-related conflicts.

This combination of mediation training and hands-on industry experience allows me to identify the core issues quickly, ask informed and practical questions, and help the parties work toward a fair, realistic, and mutually acceptable resolution.
